Hold Your Frame

Holding your frame is the idea of not losing your cool or holding your ground when someone challenges you in an argument or some sort of confrontation. For example if you are having a fight with your spouse and you lose your cool and start screaming and yelling, your spouse will undoubtedly start yelling and screaming as well. That is why it is imperative that you always keep your cool and maintain a calm, stoic tone when your are in a predicament or are challenged about something. Giving in too your emotions and freaking out just makes you look like an undisciplined child. Holding your frame will defuse an argument and in the end will help you feel better and the person you are challenged by will see that you are resolute in side of the argument.

Why You Should Be Doing A Ketogenic Diet

A Ketogenic diet is a way of eating where you consume high fat, moderate protein, and very low carb. The recommended number of carbohydrates one should consume a day on a ketogenic diet is under 30 grams. If you have a normal diet and decide to switch over to a ketogenic diet your body will go through a process were you enter a state called ketosis. At first entering ketosis may cause you to have a number of flu like symptoms commonly known as the "keto flu". This should pass after a few days though. While in this transition stage it is hugely important that you supplement certain vitamins that your body may be missing, these vitamins include Potassium, Sodium, and Magnesium.

More information about a Ketogenic Diet can be found here: www.reddit.com/r/keto

Since i myself adapted this diet a while back i have noticed i can eat vastly over my daily caloric needs by a lot and still lose weight as long as i eat high fat and extremely low carb.

My Experiences with Intermittent Fasting

I began Intermittent Fasting about two years ago and will absolutely never return to eating three square meals a day. I have lost a great amount of body fat and can stay lean year round without having a diet which is strict in nature. I follow a protocol of fasting for twenty-two hours a day while dedicating only two hours to feeding. I no longer get hungry throughout the day and get to eat like a king when i do eat. Along with implementing Intermittent Fasting, I began a strenuous weight lifting program of Deadlifts and accessory exercises on Monday,  Chest Exercises on Wednesday, and Squats plus accessory leg exercises on Friday. Since implementing this program i have become vastly stronger and healthier. I would absolutely reccommend Intermittent Fasting to anyone, the health benefits of this lifestyle vastly outweigh any negatives it may have (if there even are negatives). If you wish to follow a weightlifting program while Intermittent Fasting see www.Leangains.com .

Socrates on Physical Activity

"No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable."

World War I: The Beginning of the End for Western Civilization

World War I began 100 years ago this summer and in my opinion was a cataclysmic event for Western Civilization overall, in 1914 Europe controlled most of the world and was a vibrant, technologically advanced, and morally pure society. Fast-forward a hundred years and Western Civilization is slowly dying a slow death from a plethora of macabre ideologies and economic practices from multiculturalism, globalization, Keynesianism, debt, and many more.

This pandora's box was opened on the battlefields of World War I, a war which did not need to happen and were the first nails in the coffin of so much. As a result of this war, Communism rose in Russia (the ideology from Hell which just doesn't want to die), the British Empire began its slow death, the breeding grounds for Nazism were created in Germany (which resulted in another unnecessary world war), the Sykes-Picot Agreement was created giving birth to that demon that today is the Middle East.

Some 10 Million men were killed and many more were maimed for life, annihilating an entire generation of men across Europe, no doubt snuffing out many great things they would have achieved had they returned alive or without harm. The war set the stages for the economic boom that we now call the Roaring 20's in America which ended up resulting in Prohibition and the Great Depression. In the end World War I can be looked at as a European Civil War were the cousins from America somehow became involved. Further into history people will look back at the hundred year period from 1914 until 2014 and lament how Western Civilization destroyed itself through stupidity.
